So, what do you do when you have 2 different countries that need to work together on implementing a new data management solution? You make it visual!
Creating common ground on what is thought to be implemented and spread awareness at the same time were the main goals of making these flyers.
Sometimes it works better to see each other in person. Even though I’m a firm believer of remote work, in heated discussions or when you want to strengthen the bond, a once a year get together is nice.
In regard to these particular flyers, the entire team came together and could view all the flyers which were put up against a wall.
Immediately this brought up a (heated) discussion on different understandings of what this new solution was going to deliver.
And just that, that is the power of using visualizations during your work.
After refining the flyers, they were spread within the organization, and every project member could clearly tell what this new solution was all about.
