SIMPLEFEYE logo – The making of:
With this new project of mine, I want to create a portal for everyone to come in contact with Simplefeye.com. And one of the things that can not be missed is a Logo J. In the making of the logo, I will take you along with me through all the steps towards the end result.
First, I had to come up with the name for the website! I identified some words I would like to describe this initiative with. I got help from my family members scrambling these words up and then decided to go for “SIMPLEFYE”.
Second, some words that resonated with “SIMPLEFYE” were:
- Simple
- Simplify
- Eye
- Visual
- Success
- Speed
- Quick
- Understand
- Overview
I started with those words, like I usually do, to think of images that come to mind.
Third, I crossed out things I didn’t like and in this case I quickly found the option I wanted to go forward with. One thing I’m (still) not sure about is how to combine the logo with the name “SIMPLEFEYE”.

Finally, I also had to transfer this hand-out sketched version to digital and with the help of a free tool called Inkscape I’ve done so. And behold the end result J:
